Frequently asked questions

What is your floorplan site visit service?

We visit a property on a scheduled day and time and sketch the layout of the
property onsite using a laser measuring device for accurate measurements. We then
produce digital 2D floorplans with your branding requirements and this is supplied in
both Jpeg and PDF files.

How long does a site visit last?

Depending on the property size and complexity, the site visit can take anything from
30 minutes to 2 hours.

What do you require to render a floorplan?

Where you have existing, complex architectural plans, we will produce 2D or 3D
marketing floorplans. Architectural plans must be legible and have clear
measurements shown. We will also accept your own hand drawn sketches (if
suitable) and can even produce plans from any live Matterport virtual tour link!

What is your turnaround time?

For both site visits and rendering, you will receive your beautiful marketing floorplans
within 24 to 48 hours.

Why do I need your floorplan if I have a copy of the building plans?

Plans on file by the Council are often dated, poor quality copies and may contain
many specification details making the plan difficult to interpret. Our floorplans are
specifically designed for property marketing as they are clear, compelling and easy
to understand and are there to support your sales activities right from the start as
well as help you secure more mandates because it’s a competitive advantage.

What is the RICS standard mentioned in your disclaimer?

The RICS standard is a specific set of rules developed for companies globally. It is
a standardized rulebook designed to ensure properties are measured using
consistent methods.

What branding options are available?

For professional, bespoke floorplans, you are welcome to supply us with any specific
colour schemes to be incorporated, watermarks, logos and more. Feel free to chat to
us about your specific branding requirements.

What can I use the floorplans for?

Marketing floorplans are for representation purposes for your clients to better
understand the layout and flow of the property. These plans are also ideal for
planning and visualizing of office space layouts. These are not to be used if planning
complex renovation projects that require in depth measurements and specifications.

Does the pricing include external areas?

Yes, the price is determined by the total area of the property, which includes internal
and measured external areas (patios, balconies, garage etc).

What information is shown on floorplans?

The basic layout of the property is shown along with dimensions of areas, room
labels, the address as well as a north point where possible. Standard existing fittings
and fixtures are shown as simple icons (countertops, ovens, bathroom fittings, doors,
windows etc). The total estimated internal area is shown along with external areas if
any. We can remove certain information upon request.
